As part of our defined growth targets, we are looking – from May 01, 2023 – for a professionally and personally convincing Shipping Agent Sea / Road / Rail (m/f/d).
Your professional and personal profile
- Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d)
- Already existing professional experience in the field of freight transport export and/or import
- Very careful and structured way of working; SAP knowledge advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team as well as result orientation and customer focus
- Flexibility and a high ability to work in a team
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Your future responsibilities include
- Organization and planning of international freight transports via sea, road, rail (export & import)
- Processing and monitoring of export and import orders from receipt of order to invoicing
- Carrying out necessary reservations with shipping companies and close cooperation and coordination with our partners
- Disposition of pre- and/or post-carriage to/from the port (incoterms)
- Preparation and collection of all necessary export documents according to the applicable regulations (incl. customer specifications)
- Document dispatch, invoice verification and filing of the procedure in the system
- Initiating necessary measures in case of anomalies and incidents in the shipment status
- Proactive support of and communication with customers and service providers
- Preparation of evaluations and presentations as required
