My focus: Grow the Business – targeted expansion of third-party business and strategic development of a combined transport (CT) terminal as a future-proof and sustainable growth driver for BHS Global Logistics.

High-performance logistics is evident in day-to-day operations – particularly in stable inbound processes and the seamless integration of all operational workflows.

In Business Operations & Strategy, we ensure exactly that: We combine strategic direction with consistent operational excellence. We place a special focus on managing and optimizing our inbound logistics. From precise planning of goods flows to efficient receiving processes and intelligent further processing, we lay the foundation for a high-performing supply chain.

At the same time, we are systematically driving forward the automation of our processes – to shorten turnaround times, ensure quality, and sustainably reduce the workload at our locations. By utilizing modern technologies and data-driven management, we increase transparency and responsiveness in our operations. This ensures that we can deliver reliably and efficiently at all times, even as demands increase. The customer is always at the center of our efforts. Because only when our operational processes are stable, fast, and flexible can we create real added value and build long-term trust.

My job: Drive Operations & Strategy – managing day-to-day operations as well as driving strategic development to create efficient, robust, and future-proof structures throughout the entire organization.

Personally, I am motivated by tackling operational challenges head-on and working with on-site teams to develop solutions that deliver results in everyday operations. I am deeply passionate about further strengthening our inbound processes and actively shaping the logistics of tomorrow through intelligent automation.

Financial stability, transparency, and legal compliance form the foundation for sustainable growth. As Manager of Finance, Controlling & Legal, I am responsible for the strategic and operational management of our financial processes, the monitoring of key financial figures, and ensuring that our actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

As part of financial controlling, we regularly carry out target-versus-actual analyses and forecasts to track progress toward goals. These enable informed decisions based on numbers, data, and facts, make opportunities and risks measurable, and allow us to identify necessary actions. As part of BHS Global Logistics business and financial reporting and contract management, the department works closely with the Business Development & Services department. Relevant data is compiled for senior management or MCircle colleagues, and required documents are prepared.

In the Legal department, as the management representative appointed by managing director, I am responsible for ISO 9001 certification, which ensures that key processes and standards are continuously implemented, monitored, and further developed within BHS Global Logistics. I guide and support my colleagues on relevant compliance issues, including energy, data protection, occupational safety, and other regulatory requirements, to ensure compliance, identify risks early on, and guarantee safe, practical solutions. This integration enables us to maintain an integrated management system.

What motivates me personally is that this area creates tangible added value for the company, our employees, and our customers. With dedication and passion, I work to ensure well-founded decisions, optimize processes, and strengthen the company for the long term.

People are at the heart of our company. Their growth, motivation, and satisfaction are key factors in our shared success. As a Human Resources Manager, it is important to me to create the right conditions so that employees can contribute their strengths, continue to grow, and feel a long-term connection to our company.

My work in HR covers a wide range of topics. These include recruiting and onboarding new employees, ensuring a structured introduction to the company, and the ongoing support and development of our teams. In doing so, it is particularly important to me to foster a work culture characterized by trust, appreciation, and teamwork.

Another key focus of our work is in the area of personnel services. Our priority here is to provide individualized support to people, offer them security and guidance, and build a relationship based on trust with our company and our client companies. Open communication, personalized support, and a respectful approach form the foundation of our daily work.

What motivates me most about my role is working with people. I want to help employees realize their potential, achieve their goals, and feel at home with us. At the same time, I see Human Resources as a strategic partner that actively supports the continued development of our company and helps ensure we remain an attractive employer in the future.

Efficient logistics result from the daily interaction between people, processes, and systems. As a Logistics Operations Manager, my focus is on ensuring that operations run reliably, efficiently, and with consistently high quality.

For me, the focus is on managing and continuously improving our core logistics processes – from goods receipt through warehousing and order picking to shipping. It is crucial to clearly structure workflows, identify bottlenecks early on, and implement practical solutions in collaboration with the on-site teams. We place a special emphasis on the stability and transparency of our processes. Through the targeted use of key performance indicators and close operational oversight, we lay the foundation for reliable performance and high on-time delivery rates. The customer is always the benchmark for our actions. For us, operational excellence means not only meeting expectations but consistently exceeding them in our day-to-day work.

Personally, I am motivated by being closely involved in day-to-day operations: quickly identifying challenges, implementing decisions, and achieving tangible results together with the team. With dedication and passion, I work every day to make our logistics a little more efficient and effective.

Everything comes together at the control desk – especially when speed, prioritization, and reliability are critical. As the Control Desk Manager, I ensure that our logistics processes are managed in real time and remain stable even when deviations occur.

A particular focus is on ensuring the supply of production and spare parts to our customers, as well as proactively managing missing parts at our customers’ construction sites. Especially in critical situations, it is crucial to quickly establish transparency, clearly set priorities, and implement solutions together with all stakeholders – whether through stock transfers, express procurement, or alternative supply routes. By closely monitoring the flow of goods and using data-driven control, we identify bottlenecks early on and can take targeted countermeasures.

The control desk serves as a central coordination hub that consolidates information, expedites decisions, and ensures operational implementation. The customer is always our top priority – because when it comes to replacement parts, every minute counts. Our goal is to minimize downtime and ensure a reliable supply even under challenging conditions.

Personally, I am motivated by the dynamic nature and responsibility of this role: maintaining a clear overview in critical moments, making quick decisions, and working with the team to implement solutions that have an immediate impact. I’m deeply passionate about continuously improving our processes in the control center and sustainably strengthening supply reliability.

Global logistics involves managing complex flows of goods across national borders safely, quickly, and in compliance with regulations. As Customs & Transportation Manager, I am responsible for ensuring the smooth handling of our international shipments – across all modes of transport and in close coordination with our customs processes.

A key focus is on the holistic management of our supply chains – whether by air, sea, or land. We ensure that every shipment is efficiently planned, transparently tracked, and delivered on time. Maximum speed and precision are especially critical for time-sensitive spare parts orders.

At the same time, we ensure compliance with all customs regulations on a global scale. From accurate declarations and preferential tariff calculations to compliance issues such as sanctions list checks and certifications like AEO, we create secure yet efficient processes that minimize delays and reduce risks.

In outbound logistics, we ensure reliable and high-performance processing of all orders – with clear prioritization, coordinated transport solutions, and close collaboration with internal and external partners worldwide. The customer is always at the center of our focus. Our goal is to design international supply chains so that they not only function but also remain stable and efficient under demanding conditions. We never lose sight of sustainability, utilizing combined transport and intermodal solutions wherever possible.

Personally, I am motivated by the diversity and dynamism of global logistics: varying requirements, complex conditions, and the daily challenge of turning them into seamless operations. I am deeply passionate about continuously improving our transportation and customs processes and ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability worldwide.
