During a business trip, Jonas Ries, Heiko Rupprecht, and Markus Gräf once again visited our colleagues at BHS Türkiye on-site. Together, they carried out a challenging order for an international client from the US – from technical coordination through to final shipping preparation and execution.
Custom Packaging and Transport Solution
The components were placed on specially developed custom load carriers, precisely tailored to their geometry and protection requirements. They were then securely loaded into a shipping container.
Optimized Processes & Transport Securing
Thanks to clearly structured workflows and defined packaging stations, the process was significantly accelerated. At the same time, the protection of the goods was specifically enhanced:
- Wrapping with protective film
- Vacuum packaging (air extraction)
- Protection against moisture and corrosion
This is how we ensure that the goods arrive at the customer in perfect condition, even after long transport routes.
Thinking Ahead Together
In addition to the ongoing project, we have already initiated work on other areas:
- Development of additional custom load carriers for particularly sensitive components
- Optimization of processes in close coordination
- Increasing efficiency through targeted SAP applications and standardization
