Accessibility means more than just physical access.
On World Accessibility Day, we would like to remind everyone how important it is to have a work environment that does not exclude people, but rather enables them to perform their jobs as a matter of course.
At BHS Global Logistics, this often includes things that quickly seem like a given in everyday life:
short distances, barrier-free access, elevators, or convenient parking right next to the building. What may be just infrastructure to some makes a real difference in the daily work life of others.
For us, a modern workplace therefore also means creating conditions that enable participation – in a practical, respectful way, and without making a big deal out of it.
After all, effective collaboration flourishes where people can contribute their skills – regardless of physical limitations.
